Three types of m/c test exist at present.

Category A1-Light motorcycles - Now rendered obselete because of the new Manoeuvre Test Mod 1.

Category A2-restricted motorcycle.

Category A-unrestricted motorcycle.

The type you choose is dependent on your age and/or motorcycle size. All tests are identical and require you to produce a valid CBT Certificate, your UK Driving Licence and a valid motorcycle Theory Test pass certificate before the practical off road manoeuvres and on road assessments are conducted.

During your training we will convince you how important it is to take observation prior to changing position. During the 10 minute Manoeuvre Test(mod 1) and the 45 minute Road Test (mod 2) your examiner will be looking closely at your observation skills. A2B train their customers to handle a motorcycle with skill and confidence, not just merely to pass a test. During training, you will experience riding within the test area, however, you will also enjoy a progressive ride within the county and learn some of the finer points of motorcycle control.
